Durante questo processo, la lunghezza delle fibre gioca un ruolo cruciale. Entro un certo intervallo, pi\u00f9 lunga \u00e8 la fibra, maggiore \u00e8 l'energia che pu\u00f2 assorbire, con conseguente miglioramento della resistenza. I compositi termoplastici subiscono la cristallizzazione e la transizione vetrosa per formare una struttura cristallina, mentre quelli termoindurenti si reticolano e polimerizzano durante la lavorazione.
