Novit\u00e0 nelle tecniche di impregnazione<\/h2><p>I metodi convenzionali, quando si trattano resine termoplastiche ad alta viscosit\u00e0, spesso sono carenti in termini di flusso di resina e bagnatura delle fibre. Per risolvere questo problema, i ricercatori hanno introdotto la tecnica della fusione a caldo in sospensione e l'impregnazione assistita da ultrasuoni. Il metodo di fusione a caldo in sospensione disperde la polvere di resina in una sospensione acquosa, sfruttando la cavitazione a ultrasuoni per espandere i fili di fibra e incorporare uniformemente i granuli di resina tra le fibre. La successiva fusione ad alta temperatura e il consolidamento consentono la produzione su larga scala di resine ad alte prestazioni come il PEEK e il PPS. Metodi di diffusione delle fibre migliorati<\/h2><p>I metodi di spalmatura tradizionali possono danneggiare le fibre, compromettendo le prestazioni meccaniche. I ricercatori hanno sviluppato una tecnica di diffusione combinata meccanica e a flusso d'aria. Lo spandimento meccanico si ottiene attraverso lo spostamento trasversale per compressione e attrito, mentre lo spandimento a flusso d'aria utilizza l'aria compressa per spruzzare e piegare le fibre, allargandole senza contatto diretto. Questo duplice approccio aumenta l'uniformit\u00e0 di diffusione delle fibre e ne riduce i danni, ponendo le basi per una produzione di prepreg ad alte prestazioni.<\/p><h2>3. Sistemi di resina innovativi<\/h2><p>La scelta e la modifica dei sistemi di resina sono fondamentali per le prestazioni dei preimpregnati. Per le resine ad alta viscosit\u00e0 come il PEEK e il PPS, i ricercatori hanno sviluppato copolimeri a bassa fusione e tecnologie di modifica dei nanofiller. I copolimeri a bassa fusione riducono la viscosit\u00e0 della resina fusa e migliorano la fluidit\u00e0 incorporando segmenti flessibili, mentre i nanofiller migliorano la resistenza meccanica e termica rafforzando il legame interfacciale resina-fibra.
