La resistencia a la compresi\u00f3n puede multiplicarse de 1,3 a 2,0 veces mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n acelerada de iones de boro de alto voltaje, lo que refina la estructura cristalina. La fibra de carbono basada en PAN ha alcanzado un m\u00f3dulo el\u00e1stico de 690 GPa y una resistencia a la tracci\u00f3n de 3,4 GPa. El control de la interfaz pretende aumentar la resistencia al impacto equilibrando la uni\u00f3n entre las fibras de carbono y la resina de la matriz mediante el tratamiento de la superficie de la interfaz de las fibras de carbono. Se est\u00e1n desarrollando tecnolog\u00edas de moldeo de alta velocidad, como el moldeo por infusi\u00f3n de resina, el moldeo por infusi\u00f3n de pel\u00edcula de resina (RFI), el moldeo RTM, el moldeo por pultrusi\u00f3n, el moldeo por bobinado de alta velocidad (FW) y el moldeo SMC\/BMC. En el moldeo de piezas de aviones en autoclave, se est\u00e1n introduciendo m\u00e1quinas de estratificaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1ticas con control digital (NC) para optimizar la eficacia de la estratificaci\u00f3n de preimpregnados curvos.
